opti yachting slide

optimas yachting

day 1 : 14.11.2018

I tenei ra (today) is the Tuatahi (first)day for room 16 / 17 to go optimist yachting.  Kingston and I went together and we felt like getting soaked
. After rere(sailing)  like pros we, decided to ask Mr Russ if we could capsize .

Mr Russ got us in to an open space and said in a gentle voice,
Kingston, move to the front of the yacht and hold on to the  mast and tight.” He pulls back…” pene!
(bang)
Within seconds we are soaked and now the hard part... to flip that yacht. We hold on to the centerboard, then kick our feet up on the bottom of the bright karaka ( orange) yacht.  We lean back. plop. The yacht is ready to sail again apart from the yacht being half full of disgusting salt water.

We get called into the shore to go tubing.

Red Color poem

Red Color poem
Red is blood splattered all over a murder scene
Red is chubby santa trying to get himself thru the cold ecoy chimney
Red is fire burning everything in its path to ashes
Red tastes like cherries at christmas
Red smells like fresh picked strawberries at the strawberry patch
Red sounds like a  frozen breakfast smoothie on a hot 9am morning
Red feels like walking thru a pool of infected blood
Red looks like anger on a hot summer's day

Red makes me angry

Colour poem

Colour poem
Green Is Lush green overgrown grass
Green is the leaves plummeting down from the tree tops
Green is disgusting mold festering in a damp Bathroom
Green tastes like a crisp Granny smith apple waiting to be devoured
Green smells like fresh cut lawn awaiting water
Green sounds like a frog croaking in the sun set like a movie ending
Green is a tennis ball free falling into my soft skin filled palmes
Green looks like creativity

Green makes me want to play outside

My life

Hapaitia te ara kika pumav ai te rangatiratanga mo nga uri whakatipu.
Foster the pathway of knowledge to strength independence and growth
for future generations.

My story starts early on the 30th of November. My dad was outside of the room waiting
for one
more, baby in the Hastings Hospital but it wasn't one just, one normal baby it’s one
troublemaker ready to kick something, more then just my mum.

Heretaunga was home if not, playing out the, back of kmart with my kauaemua and
dad or at my
kauaemua’s netball.

I love sports if I didn’t have sports I would not, know what to do with myself
My favorite sports, are eke paihikara (cycling)  , Cricket, Canoe Polo, Bearfoot Rugby,
Soccer
and poipūtā (squash).
When I’m not doing sports I’m retireti hukarere (skiing) and snowboarding or riding
motopaika
(motorbikes) on a farm or at a friend's place.

My Koro (grandad) is a farmer on the, outskirts of Wanganui, with a cemetery right
outside their
house where my nana lays there in peace. After passing away when I was six years old
and my
Dad's, mum passing away  when I was 8 years old and my dad’s father was a railroad
worker.
Although it was a large whānau with three tama, from my dad’s mum and three kotiro,
all important jobs,
one designs aircraft for air NZ, works for Higgins, a contractor farmer, works at the,
hospital,
physiotherapist, and veteran olympian physiotherapist, for Aotearoa in 2013 and last
but not least my dad
who works at Kmart as a manager.

My whanau is very important to me, because they're always, there for me when I need it.

Another thing that is important is sport because if I didn’t have sport, I would almost not
want to live
because sport is the greatest thing in the world.

My goals for the second half of the year is to sign up for as ,much sports as I can and be
the best student
that I can be getting better scores on knowledge test’s and as much, quality writing.

Canoe polo last game

It was our last game of canoe polo keeps popping into my head but if we win or tie we go to a final or if we win both of our games we go to a final but we are tied with HNPS Hawks but we have them in the final so we for sum reason we faced two parkvale teams at the bottom of the table but they weren't going out without fight they just targeted one person and one person only.

we won both games  2-0 and 4-2 with only one practice at the start of the season.

           frimley v parkvale russell 2-0                 Frimley v Parkvale ramsay  4 -2

alcatraz griller

As breaking news bellows threw the old ecoy  living room a grillar has gone on a
rampage threw the town square.

Although it’s animal it gets treated like a prisoner but it’s not no food for the rest of
its life till it dies but it's not just that the cell is cold damp and dark.

Until now.

He has a plan to escape from the island but there’s a problem it's in the middle of the
San Francisco  Bay. Escape is impossible on the alcatraz but he thinks it will work .

Five years of work it’s time “ “it’s now or never he places a man made stuffed
gorilla in  the tallest oak tree to make them think he was still there when he wasn’t
moving.

“ I’m outas rain and  six foot waves crumble like his life against the ice cold rocks
but then one and one thing only catches his eye a large fishing boat on the shore
but its a problem it's not a fishing boat it's a boat for the guards going home to see
their family  he sneaks on the back of the boat and what could be one of the most
famous escapes  in the world.

One hour later he finds himself  on the mainland then once everyone’s gone
he makes a run for it and comes across a car dump where busted  up cars come to
die then he sees a hole bunch of trees hanging over a rusty barbed wire fence.
